Two of my children, who are 8-year-old twins, just finished their first session of Social Survival Skills taught by Heather Buchman. What an amazing experience it was for them and for me as a parent! I was so impressed with the well-thought out, motivating, and fun lesson plans that Heather had for each of her groups every week. Heather made my kids feel special and confident each week. Seeing my children "dress-up" each week to match the attire made me so proud, and then feeling the excitement that they brought home was impressive. After each class, my husband and I had such great dinner conversations with our children because each child was so excited to teach us what they had learned.

I recently took my daughter out to breakfast and it was so neat to watch her use what she had learned. She even corrected me a few times! I loved it!

I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to have a fun and exciting way to teach the etiquette of being polite and respectful to others. Heather made sure to give the families handouts to help reinforce what the kids learned at home.
